AUGUST 16: ELVIS LIVES

Elvis allegedly died on August 16, 1977, but we've seen him around from time to time.

Long-time fans of BARDO (and new Still fans) may be familiar with our "Elvis in Tokyo" dessert - a gluttonously delicious mixture of chocolate, peanut butter and tempura-fried bananas.

So, on August 16 from 8pm - midnight, we'll be featuring some Elvis-inspired dishes along with some music and contests.

We'll be serving these dishes (and a few more B-sides not listed):

"Blue Suede Scallops" - seared scallops with a blueberry soy beurre blanc

"Love Me Tender...loin" - grilled filet with a savory sweet potato pie and a memphis bbq demi

"The Hound Dog" - a public house hot dog with carmlized onion relish

"Country Boy Egg Roll" - stuffed with country ham, black eye peas, cabbage, cheddar cheese

"Jailhouse Rock-y Road Ice Cream"

Our Famous "Elvis in Tokyo"

"All Shook Up" - an adult milk shake made with tennesse whiskey

Rumor has it the King may make an appearance as well. Make sure you don't miss it.

TCB, baby.
